Hike up and around Parsons Pond head and read the story of our heroine's journey.
Before the English arrived in Newfoundland, others came in search of adventure. One such brave woman travelled the GNP alone.
Walk along her route as she witnesses the formation of Devil's Bite mountain. Devil's Bite is part of the Long Range Mountains and part of the Appalachian mountains. Formed roughly, 480 million years ago.
The trail offers spectacular views of Parsons Pond, the Long Range mountains, Cow Head, and Portland Creek head.
5.5 Km Moderate Trail. 164m elevation. Aprox 3 hours return
