1) What is an Ebike? An electric bike, or ebike, is a bicycle equipped with an electric bike motor to assist you when you’re pedalling. The motor gets its power from a rechargeable battery mounted on the bike. Our bikes also have a throttle which makes the bike act more like a moped, in which you don't have to pedal at all! The throttle can be used for going uphill or short distances.
2) What is the location of the Ebike rentals? You can pick up your Ebike right from The Turnip at 42 Route 430 in Parsons Pond.
3)How far can I go on the battery? The Max model can go up to 40 km. The Wild Goose can take you up to 50 km on the throttle alone!!
4) Can I go off road with these ebikes? Absolutely!! These bikes were designed for sand, snow, and mud. They have fat tires which are designed for off road biking.
5) Where do you suggest I go with my ebike rental? You can bike: Around our little village. 10 km north to The Arches Provincal Park to watch the sunset! 15 km south to Shallow Bay Beach
